TRAVELS WITH KINGDEANO ADVENTURES
Like a habit , rolling into the town of Eden , NSW , Adam and I had no caravan park booked or knew of any interesting things we were to see and do in this seaside town . We were to learn that Eden ' s extraordinary attractions included spotting humpback whales in the deep blue waters to seeing marinelife on a guided tour . We started our town visit with a street walk , checking out all the shops . Adam picked up a stone bracelet from Tribal Suzani to remember his travels here . The store was dog-friendly , so even our dog , Twyla , enjoyed the shopping experience .
We also came across the shop Maritime Art & Antiques , which showcased historical items of interest and amazing models of ships . An item that stood out to us was the traditional scubadiving copper helmet in the shopfront window .
EXPLORATION AND OLD TOM
After our shop , we found the petfriendly Garden of Eden Caravan Park for our night ’ s accommodation , which is set amongst shady trees and palms , spacious lawns , and sculptured gardens . The holiday park name was appropriate ! Before settling in for the night we braved the cold water and took a dip in the swimming pool .
In the morning we headed to the information centre at Eden Wharf . While we awaited its opening , we enjoyed some breakfast with our campervan ’ s barn doors open to watch the boats leave and return to the marina . With such picturesque weather , it was a spectacular way to start our day . We popped into the centre and collected some local info from the friendly people at the information desk .
