FREEDOM CAMP OF THE MONTH
NATURAL BEAUTY ABOUNDS !

This national park is known for heaths and sedges , forests and the rocky outcrops typical of the New England region . As well as the waterfall , you can explore Timbarra Lookout and horseriding trails . The area has spiritual importance and is home to Woollool Woolloolni Aboriginal Place . You may even spot wildflowers , the spotted-tailed quoll or a brush-tailed rock wallaby .
The waterfall and swamps feed into the coastal Clarence River system , the widest river in Australia and the largest on the eastern seaboard . No wonder the waterfalls and gorges around here are so mighty ! But wait until you see nearby Boonoo Boonoo Falls !
You can have a campfire here , if seasonal fire restrictions allow . But this road is best avoided in wet weather .
