Camps Australia Wide has announced an important change to its app . All users previously on the free plan will need to upgrade to a low-cost yearly plan in order to continue to use the CAMPS app , which gives caravanners instant , detailed information about campsites and holiday parks around the country .

Just over a year ago , husband and wife team Heatley and Michelle Gilmore , who own Camps Australia Wide , conducted extensive research that convinced them to offer a free and a premium paid model , designed to provide additional access options to their growing community . Unfortunately , this approach didn ’ t work as they had hoped .

" We are so grateful to all travellers who have subscribed to the CAMPS app ! We are seeing large volumes of new users coming into the app – no doubt they are planning their adventures for 2025 ,” Heatley said .

We list everything from caravan parks to free camps , state forest and private camps , to farm stays and community-run showgrounds and hall camping . The premium plan costs less than $ 1 a month or $ 9.99 a year – excellent value for all RVers !
