D-MAX TOW TEST !

Towards the end of 2024 , Isuzu loaned us an LS-U + D-MAX . We were awaiting news of the launch of the 2025 model , which is happening in February , but in the meantime , Isuzu had this vehicle ready to roll for us . Which was just as well , as it landed the day before I had to hitch up a van weighing very close to 3000kg at Tare . Although we are expecting a revamped MY25 model soon , it was an opportunity to take the D- MAX out for one more spin beforehand . After all , since we ’ d last looked at the vehicle , Isuzu had added a number of tech features that really do make a difference to the driving experience .

DASH AND SAFETY

First up , I want to mention the inbuilt tyre pressure monitoring system . This came as a welcome surprise . Appearing on both the dash and the 7in Multi-Information Display , the TPMS indicated the air pressure and temperature of each tyre . For typical solo driving and even when hitched up , this is a very useful feature .
