“ They took great time and care to truly understand our needs , wants and circumstances ,” Andrea said . “ We reached a great deal that has seen us purchase a brand new Supreme Eclipse Sunray van upgraded to be semi off-roadcapable with plenty of power to keep us off-grid for longer . Our amazing sales rep , Adam , impressed on us that the events with Tango impacted the entire caravanning industry and it was his desire to turn our disastrous experience into the positive one our family deserves . We now have an actual chassis number , have chosen our layout , inclusions and colours , and are booked in to receive our van in time for an Easter trip to Bluesfest in Byron Bay – a trip that we booked in the aftermath of the Tango fallout . We were desperate to make those memories with the kids in whichever form it would have taken !”
For Andrea and Blake , travelling and being outdoors is a way of life , whether that ’ s in a tent of a caravan .
“ After we lost our money , the generosity of friends and family saw us borrow different combinations of a double swag , a brilliant 10-person Coleman tent and even a vintage teardrop camper to allow us to continue getting out there and camping . The little teardrop was certainly a conversation starter !” Andrea said .
“ The other key message we ' d like to impress upon anyone looking to buy a caravan is to heavily research the brands that they are considering buying from , including how long they have been in business , who is on the board and the company ' s ability to use their own capital when building to enable ethically responsible billing practices .”
