TRAVELS WITH KINGDEANO ADVENTURES
All that exploring built up quite the appetite, so we headed to Hotel Victor for lunch. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it offered a warm atmosphere and a menu to match. Adam loved his pizza, and I was satisfied with a perfectly cooked steak.
On our final evening, we drove to Freeman Lookout for panoramic views of Victor Harbor and beyond. From up there, we could see Horseshoe Bay – another scenic coastal town we’ ve since added to our future travel list.
Before heading back for dinner, we made the most of a nearby walking track, soaking in those final golden rays.
For those travelling with dogs, the information centre provides a helpful list of pet-friendly walks and eateries, making it easy to explore. And if you ' re not travelling with a furry friend, Victor Harbor has no shortage of adventures, from wildlife cruises to dolphinspotting tours and countless places to dine.
Victor Harbor delivered everything we wanted in a coastal getaway: scenic walks, friendly locals, great food, and that undeniable sense of calm that only a seaside escape can offer.
