LAYOUT
The layout is quite ‘ traditional ’ in that it contains a forward bed , a nearside kitchen and an offside dinette , with an offside fridge between the dinette and the fullwidth rear bathroom . Of all the couple ’ s layouts , this one arguably works the best . That said , it ’ s nicely executed in the 19ft 8in RV Innovations Finke .
The kitchen gets a four-burner cooktop with griller and oven , a black sink with matching tapware , including a separate tap with filtered drinking water .
A touchscreen sound system has been mounted to the overhead cabinetry , linked to internal and external speakers , while a microwave is nicely recessed into the cabinetry space as well .
The queen-size bed is in the nose of the van and it ’ s surrounded by particularly neat and tidy wardrobes ( with niches either side ) and overhead lockers . The joinery here , and throughout the van , really , is up there with the best of them . We spotted no rough edges or anything out of place – all furniture is edge-banded where appropriate or otherwise nicely finished off . RV Innovations has placed the control for the diesel heater on the offside , within arm ’ s reach of the bed , so there ’ s no need to get out of bed in the morning to warm up the van !
