RV REVIEW
Every offroad caravan needs a means to keep the dust out . RV Innovations has opted for the Dometic Dust Reduction System , which scoops in air as you travel and flows it into the van , thereby pressurising the interior . A reverse-cycle air-con is mounted to the roof , too , as are four 180W solar panels . You read that right . That ’ s 720W worth of solar to keep the 400Ah worth of lithium batteries up to charge . To call this an excellent 12V system would be more than fair . Did I mention that a 3000W inverter and BMPRO BatteryPlus 35 battery management system and Odyssey Link is part of the package too ?
The rear is home to a reversing camera , which is always welcome , as well as a bumper-mounted spare wheel . A small box for firewood , also fabricated from checkerplate , sits between the body of the van and the bumper , behind the spare wheel . A couple of jerry can holders are included too . Whether you use them to carry spare water or fuel , you can ’ t go past this feature , nor the included external shower . If you ’ ve ever used one to wash the muck off your feet before venturing inside , you ’ ll know how useful these are .
The exterior of this van is quite well-rounded – all of the bases for convenient , comfortable travel are well and truly covered .
