FIVE BERTHS !
Inside , the Mars 15 is equipped with a queen-size bed in the rear fold-out section . Interestingly , Mars has even given this limited space a bunk . Yes , you read that right . This bunk is positioned atop the wardrobe space between the kitchen and main bed , and stretches over the bed towards the rear . It comes complete with a protective rail that folds up , and for a little extra bed length , a piece of timber folds out , over the cooktop . Given the length of this little hybrid is only 15ft , it ’ s a great use of space .
The walls of the rear bed area are lined in marine carpet , giving this space a bit of warmth . You ’ ll also find a TV on a swivel bracket , some reading lights and even a couple of 12V fans . Further , an array of curtains are provided for privacy in both the bed and the upper bunk .
If that ’ s not enough , the Mars 15 has yet another bunk , this time mounted above the cafe-style dinette . The bunk folds up against the wall when not in use , providing plenty of headroom for when you want to sit and eat at the dinette . Speaking of the dinette , you guessed it – it can convert to yet another bed , should you need it .
While there is scope to pack your own portable fridge outside , Mars has nonetheless provided a 108L Dometic compressor fridge under the internal kitchen bench . So between the external and internal fridge , you should have no difficulty finding a spot to keep the beers cold .
