RV FEATURE
The rollers on both the Titanium and Quickey models need to be engaged manually.
While the motor / roller assemblies of the Quattro Platinum and Titanium are permanently installed, these assemblies on the Quickey model can be easily detached from the brackets that support them – just remove a quick-release pin.
Why might some caravanners find the Quickey useful? Well, while the Quattro motors are waterresistant, they can’ t be submerged. With this system, you’ ll be able to quickly remove the motor assemblies before hauling your van through a water crossing. The Quickey would therefore be wellsuited to offroad caravans.
With its larger rollers to drive the caravan’ s wheels, and the autoengage feature, the Platinum is the Quattro of choice for tandemaxle caravans weighing up to 2850kg ATM; however, in order to shift this amount of weight, you’ ll need one motor for each wheel – with the Quattro Platinum, you can have a total of four motors / rollers, one on each wheel.
