NEW BRANDS
Coastal Caravans is located just outside of Burnie on Tasmania’ s north-west coast. The expo was also an opportunity for Coastal Caravans to formally welcome some new brands to the fold. Last year, the dealership took on Crusader Caravans, and when Crusader launched its Dreamhaven lineup, which is intended as a price-conscious entry-level brand, earlier this year, Coastal Caravans saw it as a perfect fit too.
However, it doesn’ t end there. Coastal Caravans has just partnered with Market Direct Group, one of the largest manufacturers / suppliers in Australia. It’ s the company behind the MDC range of caravans, hybrids and camper trailers, as well as new brand Gold Class, which promises excellent value for money.
When asked why he aligned his business with Coastal Caravans, Market Direct Group founder and managing director Vaughn Hindley pointed to Coastal’ s heritage – a lovingly curated reputation built over decades by a family that had also put back into the caravanning industry.
“ MDC and Gold Class- wow!” Trent said.“ To partner with Vaughn and his team is very special.”
With four flagship brands – MDC, Gold Class, Crusader and Dreamhaven – Trent believes Coastal Caravans is well positioned for growth.“ I genuinely believe that we have the best range in Tassie – there’ s over 80 models that span every style, size and budget.”
