What about comfort ? Honestly , I can ’ t complain . Crew cab utes , these days , are as comfortable and spacious as any wagon . The longest drive I ’ ve done with this particular vehicle is three hours and at no stage did I feel cramped or otherwise uncomfortable . For long hauls , I see this vehicle as a good choice .
SUMMING UP
Regular readers know that since purchasing an MU-X for myself in 2018 as a daily driver and a tow vehicle , I ’ ve grown to appreciate Isuzu , and it seems I am not the only one . The marque finished 2024 with 48,172 vehicles sold in Australia , putting it in eighth place in terms of overall sales for the year , the highest ranking ever for the Japanese auto maker .
There ’ s a new model of D-MAX just around the corner . Will it be as sharp as this one ? I have no doubt , but we ’ ll be at the launch and will report back with our thoughts as soon as possible .
